So, last night, our church league hockey team won for the first time in a while. Good game, exciting down to the wire, and featuring my first ever Ice Hockey Penalty.
There goes my nomination for the Lady Byng trophy.
I was hooking a guy and tripped him, sure he went down easy, but I did trip him. I'm just sad cause I thought I'd get a better sounding penalty. Tripping isn't as cool as spearing, or boarding, or even gouging... ah well... got the monkey off my back so I can be what I always wanted to be... a goon!
