Slurpee Report
Flavours tested: mountain dew code red and 7 up.
Observations: code red was in good shape overall. 7up was a bit runny so I never really needed the spoon function of the spoon straw.
That is all.
Sent from my abacus.

Slurped report
As reported by Matt, strawberry limeade was potent an "pretty good". My cup featured orange in good form followed by coke in excellent form.

Slurpee Report
Flavours: Orange, Mountain Dew White Out, Coke.
Results: Tasty. I feel ripped off by the new cup configuration of the 2nd largest cup size, but I'm not sure it's smaller or not. Plus: It fits in most any cup holder now, Minus: Feels smaller and probably is...
still tasty.

Biotics
Shame on yoghurt manufacturers for pushing probiotics. Every time I get sick, the doctor prescribes antibiotics. It seems the yoghurt people want me to be sick. Pox on them.
I'm winning.

Slurpee Report - November 30
Location: University/King in Waterloo
Coke and Cream Soda combined for a wonderful expression of slurpee goodness. Both were thick as should be expected in colder months. A-grade.
Also, I'm more current than Matt again.

Got a new cat named crouton. Nothing else to report.

Slurpee Report
Coke and Dr Pepper have combined for a formidable taste pair today. Nice way to fight the heat and cool off after a round of golf.

Slurpee Conditions
New in town flavour Pear Apple Nectarine has been an interesting addition, though, be warned that this will stain your skin yellow temporarilly. Tasty nonetheless.
Brisk Iced Tea flavour was sampled in Guelph and it was a huge dissappointment. Beware.
All in all, conditions have been grand, even on free slurpee day (July 11). Keep the good times rolling.
Here's some recipes and a comprehensive list of flavours found at 7-11 in Canada.

Slurpee Report
Flavour: Coke
Analysis: coke was in fine form today. Good texture, flavour and consistency. A-grade

Slurpee Report
Time: high noon
Slurpees have been found to be difficult to consume when a brittle straw snaps in half and there are no other straws or spoons in reach. Good experience with Dr Pepper and Pepsi, not so good with the weak Mtn Dew. Perfect after-sledding bevvy though.
Merry New Year

Freezing Rain in the Arctic
I managed to drive the whole stretch with the hardest part being right around dawn where I had a hard time staying awake. A quick stop for gas and the cold air woke me up.
Past new liskeard was all icy, one scary part was when a fuel truck had backed out of a driveway and couldn't get turned. I hit the brakes and slid for a good while before slowing down and getting control. Probably some of the crappiest weather I've driven in up north. Usually it's snow covered and too cold to get sloppy.
Time to do the trek again soon, and we're thinking of doing the whole stretch down to Narnia in a day. Yeehaw

my Love Hate relationship with Kijiji
I figure the most likely scenario is that someone else emailed and asked for her phone number, while she said she emailed other people and said it was sold. When the person called, she asked if it was Dan and they said "sure I am"...
or someone emailed and offered more money so she made up a lame story to not feel bad about not selling to me...
Either way, what a pain in the butt. Waste of my time and I was really excited for the great deal I was getting.
At least the Leafs decided to score some goals tonight.

Slurpee Conditions

Gatorade Gforce Blue and Coke were an admirable pair tonight. Sadly,
those 2 and Pepsi were the only one slushed to an acceptable level of
the 8. Pox on you 7-eleven for letting this gift you have just rot
under your own roof... pox.

Tonight I wanted some big mac sauce for my burger so I went back and asked. I receive 4 pacets of the stuff... I love mac sauce, but what am I gonna do with 4 packets. Same with vinegar, Wendy's recently stopped putting it out with the other condiments. I asked for some vinegar, they gave me 5 packets. Maybe if I was cleaning a coffee maker, I'd need that much, but for fries, I usually don't use a full packet.
I find it strange that by wanting plastic bags, we are killing the environment and are now penalized for that at local grocery stores. But at fast food joints, they are practically throwing away good condiments. They should be penalized. Or something.

Well that's a drag...
prices are the same as regular season games. For an unobstructed view,
I'd have to pay $42 per seat to watch a mixed lineup of prospects and
regulars play against a similar mix of another team... brutal.

BASEBALL!
Rogers SkyDome... Toronto vs NYY. I haven't been a fan of baseball for
a number of years now... mostly since the strike with a short fling
about 10 years ago.
At any rate, we had the second best nosebleed seats available, good
view. The Jay's pitcher was great to watch, with 12 strikeouts in his 5
innings of work. It was great to be part of the crowd clapping when he
had 2 strikes on a guy and he delivered K's. Add a bench clearing
social gathering in the infield, 2 ejections, a fan on the field tackled
by security and police and a couple dingers and you've got a pretty fun
evening.
